Simple stages to build any kind of shed you want.

1 – Chose the Ideal Location

It is simply essential and very important that you begin by measuring the exact place and surrounding space you want your new shed to be including enough room around your shed’s location to work with.

2 – Plan the Ideal Shed

Now you know the exact size of your desired shed it is time to draw an outline of what you want, this does not have to be perfect. Simply include the measurements and dimensions of your shed and any extra features you would like it to have.

Many plans for sheds can be found online to give you an idea of what is required.

Then take your drawing to your local DIY store who will for a small fee or maybe for free put together a professional shed plan for you out of your drawing and instruction. They will also provide you with a list of the materials and supplies you will need to build your shed and will detail the various stages of the build process.

4 – The Good Part Begins

Start by levelling the area surface and lay out your required foundation, either concrete or wooden plank.

5 – Wall to Wall

Next stage is to build the walls, work along with the instructions of your shed plan to the letter and it will be a as easy as 1,2,3.

Tips

Layout all of your tools and materials to one side with enough room to work and move around freely.

It is simpler to make your sheds sides one at a time then slot them into place once ready.
